​I  have a weakness for shapely shoes. I rarely wear something so unusualShoes, but I have a small collection of miniatures with special specimens. This elegante shape that have a high heel shoe brings with it challenges me again and again.

I originally wanted to paint a plateaushoe in the late 80ies, but couldn't find one. At that time it was no longer fashionable for ordinar people, at least not in my environment. I didn't even find what I was looking for at the flea market and the luxury of the internet didn't exist back then. So at some point I decided to settle for a shoe on paper. The result was 'Blütenzart auf Plateau". Many years later, after an exclusive shoe store in Munich ordered Christmas cards with this motif for its customers, I felt like shoe pictures again.
First the work "Winterkollektion" was created and the beginning for the calendar  2010 was made.
